Incidents:
03/20/14 Officer Frank Thomas,was on patrol in the 400 block of East Talmer Ave. and located Edward A. Schroeder, 40, of San Pierre. Officer Thomas arrested Edward on an active warrant.
03/19/14 Officer Thomas responded to a call in reference to small children who were walking around in the 300 block of Lane Street. After a brief investigation, the officer turned the children over to the mother and completed a report that he forwarded to the Department of Child Services.
03/18/14 A resident contacted the North Judson Police in reference to her 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier was attacked by a neighbor’s dog in the 500 block of Lane street. Chief Doug Vessely investigated and wrote the owner of the dog two Town of North Judson ordinance citations.
03/18/14 Police were dispatched to the North Judson-San Pierre Middle School in reference to a harassment complaint. After a brief investigation, Chief Doug Vessely filed a complete report with the Starke County Prosecutor’s office, the Juvenile Probation Department and both principals.
03/17/14 The North Judson Police Department responded to an alarm call in the 300 block of Keller Ave. After a brief investigation, it was found that an employee set off the alarm.

Incidents:
03/18/14 – A local man reported stolen property from his shed.
03/18/14 – Deputies responded when a family member allegedly broke into the family home and tried to take property that did not belong to them.
03/18/14 – A mother was allegedly punched in the face by her ex-husbands’ new wife while picking up her kids.
03/19/14 – Deputies responded to a report from a local woman who came home to find her front door wide open.
03/20/14 – Deputies delivered a protective order to a woman receiving harassing test messages.
Arrests:
03/21/14 – Michelle M. Riley, 29 of Culver, was arrested on charges of Aiding in an Armed Robbery.
03/21/14 – Stephen Lance Chaffins, 18 of Knox, was arrested on a probation violation.
03/23/14 – Manuel Cooper, 23 of Bauxite, Ariz., was arrested on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
03/23/14 – Chad Edward Neeley, 41 of Medaryville, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.
03/23/14 – Christene N. Shepherd, 22 of Knox, was arrested on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated – Endangerment.
03/24/14 – Ernest J. Westerhoff, 43 of Winamac, was arrested on charges of Possession of Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, Domestic Battery, and Intimidation.
