Man Arrested on Four Outstanding Warrants

A Michigan City man was arrested on Saturday evening after a LaPorte police officer found Moore had four outstanding warrants out for his arrest.

Shaine Moore, 38, was pulled over in the 200 block of Pine Lake Ave. in LaPorte after an officer found that he allegedly displayed several traffic violations.

When the officer checked Moore’s license, not only did the officer find that Moore’s license was suspended, but he was wanted on four outstanding warrants for his arrest through the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Department.

Moore was taken into custody for a felony charge of failure to appear and misdemeanor charges of failure to appear, check deception and driving while suspended. He was also wanted on a bench warrant. He was cited for false and fictitious registration.
