Traffic Stop Leads to Residential Meth Lab Bust

 
 
A Sunday morning traffic stop near the intersection of Jackson Heights and Michigan Roads in Plymouth leads to a meth lab bust at a rural residence. An officer from the Marshall County Police Department stopped a car driven by Jonathon Ulery for speeding, according to a news release. The officer requested assistance from a K-9 and reportedly found drugs on Ulery and his passenger, Melissa Hisey. Several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were also reportedly found in the car during the stop. Marshall County Police officers obtained a search warrant for Ulery’s residence in the 18000 block of 15B Road. They reportedly found methamphetamine and several items and vessels used in its manufacture at the residence. The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team and deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
