Knox High School Students Compete at Career Development Conference

Knox High School students were recently recognized by the Knox Community School Board for their participation in the Regional Jobs for America’s Graduates Career Development Conference on Feb. 7.

JAG students are considered at-risk students who need assistance in completing high school and transitioning to employment or post-secondary education. This conference was a way for those students to help prepare for the future by allowing them to compete in an event to showcase employability and skills.

Sarah Horstman from Knox High School participated in the conference and was awarded for her presentation in writing skills. She will move onto the state competition in Indianapolis on March 14.

Knox High School students were also given recognition for their JAG banner and commercial.
