Ancilla’s Student Government Association recently hosted a blood drive through the American Red Cross, successfully collecting blood donations from 17 of the 21 volunteers. On Tuesday, Feb. 4, SGA Faculty Advisor Jill Neidlinger, President Amanda Amstutz, and many student volunteers helped prepare and organize the event, with students, faculty and staff turning out to donate.

Neidlinger said they are happy with the turnout, especially considering the winter weather warning. She said the Ancilla community is very generous, and they hope to see even more donations for their next event in April.

The event was held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room 231 on the campus. April’s event will be in the same room but the hours will be adjusted to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2.
