Judge Robert O. Bowen accepted a plea agreement between Marie Graham’s defense attorney and Chief Deputy Prosecutor Nelson Chipman where Graham will spend 10 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to a charge of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a Class B felony. Two years of the sentence was suspended and purposeful incarceration was also included in the final agreement. For her guilty plea, charges of Conspiracy, Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia were dismissed.
Graham, 42, had admitted in a previous court setting that she participated with others in obtaining pseudoephedrine-based products for the purpose of manufacturing the drug.
As part of the investigation, officers found that occupants in Graham’s home had been involved in purchasing pseudoephedrine-based products for an extended amount of time. A search warrant was conducted in July 2013 at her home on North 4th St. in Plymouth where several items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine were found. Several individuals were arrested in that incident including Graham and two of her adult sons. Their cases remain pending in the court system.
