America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship Applications Nearly Due

Monsanto Company is offering a chance for students to earn a $1500 scholarship to further their agricultural education through the America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders scholarship program, new in 2014. The program is presented by Monsanto Company and administered by the National FFA Organization.

To apply, fill out the online application at FFA.org/scholarships. Applicants do not need to be members of the FFA. Applications are due Feb. 1.

To be considered for the America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders $1,500 scholarship, you will also need three farmers to endorse your application. Endorsing farmers must meet eligibility requirements: they have to live or farm in one of the eligible counties, must be 21 years or older and be actively engaged in farming.

When you start an application, you will be given a unique application ID number. Provide this number to the farmers you want to endorse you. Ask them to visit FFA.org/scholarships or call 1-877-267-3332 to complete the endorsement process. Endorsements are due by Feb. 8.
