An Argos man will spend some time in prison after pleading guilty in a plea agreement with the State in Marshall County Superior Court 1.

Travis Howell, 27, will serve 15 years with three years suspended on a charge of Manufacturing Methamphetamine. Judge Robert O. Bowen also sentenced Howell on Friday to one year imprisonment on a charge of Intimidation with no part of that sentence suspended. The two sentences will run concurrently.

Howell admitted in open court that he manufactured methamphetamine at his home near Argos on May 6 of this year. He also stated that he coerced his family members to purchase pseudoephedrine and other precursors against their will.

Officers from the Indiana State Police, Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated this case.
