Incidents:

12/02/13 – An air conditioning unit was reported stolen from the 10400 block of East State Road 23 in Walkerton.

12/03/13 – A resident of the 11200 block of East Dakota Street in Walkerton reported a fraud incident.

12/04/13 – A burglary was reported in the 2000 block of South 350 East in Knox.

12/05/13 – A resident of the 7800 block of West 850 South in North Judson reported a theft.

12/05/13 – A resident of the 1700 block of South State Road 39 in North Judson reported an attempted scam.

12/06/13 – A resident of the 5000 block of East 200 South in Knox reported he was being harassed and threatened by a male subject.

12/06/13 – A dog was reportedly stolen from a home in the 1700 block of South 350 East in Knox.

12/07/13 – A caller from the 3000 block of South County Road 210 told police that her son found paraphernalia on the property.

12/08/13 – Chris Hoover of Knox told police that people have been trespassing and littering on his property.

Arrests:

Nicholas David L., 23 of LaPorte, was arrested on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Paraphernalia.

12/06/13 – Norbert Herbert Schroeder, 40 of Walkerton, was arrested on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Open Alcohol Container.

Incidents:
12/09/13 A dispute arose between two individuals over the proper ownership of a vehicle. Police found that the vehicle did belong to a subject’s mother who was incarcerated but that no one else was on the registration.

12/09/13 A local girl was taken to the emergency room by her mother. The girl was assaulted, hit in the head by another subject. Police are still investigating.

12/06/12 Police are investigating an alleged fight between two individuals.

12/05/13 Police responded to a domestic dispute were a man was allegedly battered a woman while trying to get her property out of the house. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

12/05/13 Pulaski County police responded to a domestic dispute that remains under investigation.

12/04/13 Star City firefighters responded to a structure fire in Royal Center.

12/04/13 Francesville police responded to a possible break-in. The subject was gone before police got there but were given a description of the subject by witnesses.

12/0413 A local woman drove off the road to miss a deer. There were no injuries but the car was damaged.

12/04/13 A parent was reportedly kicked off of a school bus after allegedly threatening some of the kids. Winamac Community High School had police investigate the situation. After reviewing the evidence, there appeared possible intimidation but no threats. The subject was cautioned to stay off of the school bus and the next time he had an issue take it up with the school.

12/03/13 A woman returned home to find that some unknown person broke into her house. Her basement window was broken out and some items and money were missing.

Arrests:
12/11/13 James Hughes, 47, of Medaryville, IN was arrested on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement and Intimidation.

12/10/13 Sigfrido Ruiz, 33, of Logansport, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Identity Deception.

12/08/13 Rachel Scheffer, 38, of Star City, IN, arrested on warrants.

12/06/13 Eddie Lamb, 39, of Winamac, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Marijuana.

12/05/13 Keith Campbell, 44, of Winamac, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Forgery, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.

12/05/13 Heidi Stinemetz, 31, of Altha, Florida, arrested on warrant for Theft.

Incidents:
12/08/13 A resident in the 300 Block of Main Street called police in reference to an unwanted guest at the door harassing them. The guest left prior to arrival, however was located and given a no trespass warning.

12/08/13 Shortly after 6 p.m., North Judson officer Frank Thomas responded to a personal injury traffic accident on 500 South, east of 500 West. Two young adults were in the vehicle where the driver stated a deer was in the roadway and he swerved to avoid striking the animal. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Police believe the roadway surface condition due to the snow and ice, as well as speed, played a factor in the accident. Both parties were transported to IU Health Starke Hospital. Thomas set the damages at over $5,000.

12/06/13 A resident in the 300 block of Garden Street reported to police that someone damaged her vehicle. The vehicle’s driver side mirror was hit with an unknown object.

12/06/13 Police responded to a family dispute in the 400 block of Keller Avenue. The parties were separated.

12/05/13 Police responded to a slide-off. There was no damage to the vehicle.

12/05/13 An unwanted guest complaint was reported in the 200 block of Maryland Street. The the male guest was located and issued a no trespass warning.

12/02/13 Police responded to a disabled vehicle call at the intersection of East Sycamore Street and Ohio Street. The officer helped push the vehicle out of the roadway.

12/02/13 Officers responded to a reckless driving complaint in the area of State Road 10 and highway 421. The officer checked the area and was unable to find the vehicle.
