James Buescher left Turner Scott Motorsports after driving for four seasons with the organization. He was with TSM since its inception in 2010. The former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion has moved on to drive the No. 99 Toyota for RAB Racing in the Nationwide Series in 2014.
The 2014 rules package was recently delivered to all Sprint Cup teams. Changes include statically setting the race car ride height and elimination the pre- and post-race front height rules and inspections. Additionally, a square leading edge will be featured on the splitter, side shirt and rear fascia adjustments and an eight-inch rear spoiler. A 43-inch by 13-inch radiator pan is also among the changes. The first race featuring the new package will be the second race of the 2014 season at Phoenix International Raceway on Mar. 2.
Marshal Faust was reinstated as a crew member for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series after his successful completion of NASCAR’s Substance Abuse Policy Road to Recovery Program. He violated the policy on Oct. 10 of this year and was placed on indefinite suspension.
NASCAR has entered into a multi-year agreement with Flowmaster designating it as the exclusive NASCAR Performance partner for performance exhaust system components. Those components include performance mufflers, catalytic converters, headers and installation accessories.
