Kane Wilson Sentenced to Home Detention

A man was sentenced Thursday in a hearing in Starke Circuit Court on two separate cases.

Kane Wilson pleaded guilty in a plea agreement with the State to a charge of Strangulation as a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 24 months in the Indiana Department of Corrections with 12 months suspended to be served on home detention.

In another case, Wilson pleaded guilty in a plea agreement to Possession of Methamphetamine as a Class D felony and Possession of Marijuana as a Class A misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 24 months with 12 months suspended on the methamphetamine charge and 12 months in the Starke County Jail with all of the sentence suspended on the marijuana charge.

In all, he will serve 24 months on home detention.
