Travis Pastrana Not Returning to NASCAR in 2014

That familiar bright-colored No. 60 driven by Travis Pastrana for Roush Fenway Racing will not be seen driving on the race track in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2014. He made the announcement on his Facebook page on Monday.

He thanked everyone who stuck behind him the last two years in NASCAR and said, “my results were not good enough to get the sponsors I needed to appropriately fund next season.”

He further stated that his attention will now be as a father and husband and he will offer support to his wife, Lyn-z, as she chases her goals as a professional skater in the Nitro Circus Live Tour. At the same time, he will be looking to drive in more rally and off-road trucks races. Announcements regarding his future in those regards are forthcoming.

Pastrana ended his announcement with the following sentiment: “Thank you to all my fans for the support and I hope to see each of you at an event in the near future.”
