Incidents:

11/11/13 – A resident of the 8900 block of East 25 North in Knox reported someone had damaged his mailbox.

11/12/13 – A resident of the 1000 block of West 200 South in Knox told police that a scammer had called him and claimed to be from Key Bank in an attempt to gain financial information.

11/12/13 – A man told police that he was confronted by a man who insulted and threatened him at Next Door Foods in Knox.

11/12/13 – A resident of the 11200 block of East Division Road in Knox reported someone had taken unauthorized control of his vehicle.

11/13/13 – A resident of the 3300 block of West Kamar Lane in North Judson reported she had been battered by her husband.

11/13/13 – Mason Brownfield of North Judson told police he had been battered by a male subject.

11/14/13 – A resident of the 7200 block of North 50 East in Hamlet reported a scam involving a man claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House.

11/14/13 – Susan Christian of North Judson told police she had been contacted from someone requesting money.

11/14/13 – A resident of the 2900 block of South Hilltop Drive in Knox told police someone had tried to steal his boat and damaged another boat in the process.

11/14/13 – Leanne Tunis of Knox told police someone had hit the awning of the Smoke Shop in Knox, causing damage.

11/14/13 – Tiger Minix told police that someone had cut the locks off of the lockers at the storage units near U.S. 35 and County Road 900 South.

11/14/13 – A hit-and-run incident was reported on State Road 10 west of U.S. 35 in Knox.

11/15/13 – Peter Savaste of San Pierre told police that someone had pointed a gun at him and sliced his jacket open with a knife.

11/15/13 – A resident of the 1400 block of South 880 East in Knox reported her husband was the victim of a scam.

11/15/13 – A resident of the 100 block of William Howard Drive in North Judson reported she had been battered and choked by a male subject.

11/15/13 – A resident of the 1500 block of West 450 South in Knox reported someone had stolen her cell phone.

11/16/13 – John Ross told police that someone had caused damage to his property.

11/16/13 – A resident of the 8100 block of North State Road 23 in Walkerton reported someone had broken out the back window of her van.

11/17/13 – The front window of a residence in the 2500 block of South 800 East in Knox was reportedly broken out.

11/17/13 – Steven Swartzell of Monterey reported someone had slashed the tires of his vehicle.

11/17/13 – A resident of the 8800 block of East 25 North in Knox told police the tires on his vehicle were slashed.

11/17/13 – Someone reported threw a mailbox at the bedroom window of a residence in the 6100 block of North State Road 23, breaking it.

11/17/13 – A windshield was busted out in the 11300 block of East 400 South in Culver.

11/17/13 – A resident of the 10400 block of East 400 South in Culver reported someone had flattened his tires and damaged his windshield.

11/17/13 – A resident of the 10900 block of East 400 South in Culver reported someone had damaged his mailbox.

Arrests:

11/16/13 – Eric A. Griffo, 42 of Knox, and Joshua Wayne Shepherd, 25 of Culver, were arrested following a report of battery.

Incidents:
11/16/13 Police were advised of a scam. The caller’s wife got a letter with a check. The letter instructed the caller to go to a Western Union and send a payment to another location.

11/16/13 A woman advised that her father’s girlfriend hit her dad over the head with frozen meat, he is on the floor still and bleeding, but conscious. Winamac EMS was called to the location. A suspect was arrested in the incident.

11/15/13 Winamac Police were advised that someone had cut off the locks on 20 storage units. The caller advised that it was unknown if anything was missing out of the storage units.

11/15/13 A woman reported a domestic battery incident to police.

11/15/13 A woman advised she was in Jasper County and just hit a deer. She was transferred to Jasper County Hospital.

11/14/13 Police, EMS and the SWAT team were called to a residence in Medaryville to seek a man who had skipped out on work release and did not report back to the Pulaski County Jail. After a stand off with police, the suspect, 48-year-old James Anthony Miller, was arrested along with 37-year-old Steven Ezekiel Richie and 43-year-old Tanya Fitch. They all face various charges.

11/12/13 A resident in Pulaski County told police that her 18-year-old son is out of control and is threatening her and her 24-year-old son. The man charged with possession and was arrested.

11/19/13 Martin Capulin, 40, of Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charges of Failure to Appear.

11/19/13 Kalen Shepperd, 37, of Medaryville, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Theft.

11/17/13 David Reedy, 24, of Winamac, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe or Needle.

11/16/13 Christopher J. Robbins, 22, of Medaryville, IN, arrsted on preliminary charges of Battery, Interference with Reporting a Crime, Intimidation, and Strangulation.

11/15/13 Noble Shelton, 24, of Wheatfield, IN, arrested on a warrant.

11/15/13 Ricky Moser, 37, of Vincennes, IN, arrested on a warrant.

11/15/13 Spencer Allen, 22, of Winamac, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

11/14/13 Tanya Louise Fitch, 43, of Medaryville, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (Meth), Assisting a Criminal, and Resisting Law Enforcement.

11/14/13 James Anthony Miller, 48, arrested on preliminary charges of Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (Meth), Escape, Resisting Law Enforcement.

11/14/13 Steven, Ezekiel Richie, 37, arrested on preliminary charges of Visiting a Common Nuisance, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (Meth), Assisting a Criminal, and Resisting Law Enforcement.

Incidents:
11/16/13 North Judson Police investigated a call about juveniles attempting to gain entry into parked vehicles in the 200 Block of George Street. The suspects were gone upon arrival, however the area will have extra patrols. No items were missing or damages reported, thanks to a concerned citizen reporting the incident.

11/16/13 A minor property damage accident was investigated in the Good to Go parking Lot. A truck pulling out of a parking space struck a parked vehicle. North Judson Officer Frank McDaniel investigated the incident and estimated damages at over $1000. The driver of the pickup truck, Stephen Allen, 31, of North Judson, was arrested for driving while suspended.

11/15/13 Police received a report of a written prescription being lost in the area of the Burger King parking lot.

11/14/13 Police investigated a report of a protective order violation in the 200 Block of Arlington St. A complete report was sent to the Starke County Prosecutor’s Office requesting charges.

11/14/13 North Judson Deputy Police Chief Joe Budner responded to the CVS store after learning of a theft from the business. After a brief investigation, police arrested Tim Borman, 23, of Monterey, for Theft.

11/12/13 As a result of an early snow event and a slick roadway, North Judson Police covered a minor injury accident near 700 west and State Road 10. The female driver was transported to Porter Hospital and released. North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely investigated the incident and estimated damages at over $3,000.

11/12/13 Report of a mentally unstable and unwanted subject in the 100 Block of Main Street was called into North Judson police. Officers responded and after a second call Donna Campbell, 35, of North Judson, was arrested for Battery on Law Enforcement. She was transported to the Starke County Jail.

11/11/13 An employee from Dollar General reported a possible shoplifter and when police arrived the suspect has already fled the area.

11/16/13 Stephen R. Allen, 31, 5460 W. State Road 10, of North Judson, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Driving While Suspended – Prior.

11/14/13 Timothy L. Borman, 23, Ash Street, of Monterey, IN arrested on a preliminary charge of Theft.

11/12/13 Donna F. Campbell, 35, 208 Lincoln Avenue, of North Judson, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery on Law Enforcement.

Incidents:
11/08/13 Robert Fultz reported the theft of a tattoo gun and electronic equipment.

11/07/13 Officers engaged in a pursuit with a black vehicle. The suspect’s vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and did not stop at any stop signs. The officer was unable to catch the suspect.

11/06/13 Officers investigated a hit and run accident at Pizza King.

11/05/13 Vicki Risner reported a burglary.

11/02/13 Jason Clemons reported the theft of deer stands.

11/01/13 Vandalism was reported at Wythogan Park. Damage was fone to the restrooms and graffiti was visible on several pieces of equipment at the skate park.

11/01/13 Robert Fultz reported the theft of a cell phone.

10/30/13 Chantell Sitek reported her vehicle stolen.

10/24/13 Detectives were called to investigate a burglary at a home on S. Heaton Street.

10/24/13 Officers responded to a battery complaint.

10/23/13 Police investigated a fraud complaint.

10/21/13 An employee at Five Star reported the theft of pallets.

10/21/13 Robert Fultz reported the theft of a TV.

10/16/13 Vandalism was reported at the Oak Park cemetery. Garbage cans were spray pained, a headstone was knocked over and items were taken from graves.

10/15/13 A resident told police her checkbook was stolen.

Arrests:
11/09/13 Tommy King, 60, 5202 S. Holiday St., North Judson, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC of at least .15%.

11/05/13 Robert Fultz, 25, 104 S. Prettyman St. #2, Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Drug Lab within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Dumping Controlled Waste Substance, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

11/05/13 James Clemons, 47, 600 E. Culver Road, Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Drug Lab within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Dumping Controlled Waste Substance, and Visiting a Common Nuisance.

11/05/13 Serena Clemons, 26, 2690 E. Tribue Dr., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Drug Lab within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Attempted Overpurchase of Pseudoephedrine.

11/05/13 Lisa Clemons, 28, 300 W. Riverside Dr., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Drug Lab within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, Possession of Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a family housing complex, and Visiting a Common Nuisance.

11/02/13 William Spencer, 57, 328 W. Spruce Dr., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery.

11/01/13 Courtney Owens, 25, 11018 E. Iroquois Rd., Walkerton, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Dealing in a Substance Represented to be a Controlled Substance, Auto Theft, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

11/01/13 Ryan Anguiano, 21, 914 S. Michigan St. #1, Plymouth, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Marijuana and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
