Incidents:
10/31/13 North Judson Police transported two loose dogs from the vicinity of Sycamore and Railroad Streets to the Starke County Humane Society.

10/31/13 During trick-or-treat activities, a resident reported to officers that he and his young son were struck by a pickup truck in the 200 Block of High Street. No injuries were reported and they were just brushed by the truck that had crossed the center of the road. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact North Judson police at (574) 772-5914.

10/30/13 Police responded to a report of a delivery truck that had struck a dumpster behind the North Judson-San Pierre High School.

10/30/13 Copper wires were reportedly stolen from an empty home in the 400 block of Blackberry Street. This incident remains under investigation.

10/30/13 – During a traffic stop, a passenger fled on foot from the vehicle. After a short foot pursuit, the female was apprehended. Jessica Sturgell, 35, was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement and she had a warrant for her arrest in Pulaski County. The driver, Brian Aasand, of Winamac, was issued a traffic citation.

10/29/13 A property damage accident occurred in the parking lot at Good to Go in North Judson. Police Chief Doug Vessely investigated the accident and estimated damages at over $2,000. A vehicle backed up to change gas lanes and backed into a parked vehicle.

10/29/13 Police responded to a subject needing assistance in the 300 Block of Lane Street.

10/29/13 A resident reported that his vehicle was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of High Street. He had left the vehicle there for repairs. The vehicle was recovered the next morning and the incident remains under investigation.

10/28/13 Officers investigated a simple battery incident in the 400 block of Keller Avenue. No injuries were reported and neither party requested charges be filed.

Arrests:
11/01/13 Howard W. Reed Sr., 4460 S Dawn Drive, North Judson, IN, arrested on a Marshall County warrant for Driving While Suspended-Prior.

10/30/13 Jessica M Sturgell, 35, 1250 S 1075 West, San Pierre, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Resisting Law Enforcement. Strugell also had a warrant for her arrest out of Pulaski County.

11/03/13 Andrew Isajczuk, 20, of Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

10/28/13 – A building in the 2100 block of East State Road 10 in North Judson was reportedly broken into.

10/28/13 – Angela Spiller of Knox told police that someone broke into her residence and stole several items.

10/28/13 – David Hunnicutt of Knox reported he caught someone on his property stealing items and brought them to the sheriff’s department.

10/28/13 – Sherry Wash told police that someone sold her horse without her permission.

10/29/13 – Mike Risner of Knox reported someone had stolen irrigation wire from his farm.

10/30/13 – A resident of the 2600 block of West 250 South in North Judson reported a fraud and theft incident.

10/31/13 – Keith Kafantaris told police that someone broke into the back of the Koontz Lake Market and stole his .22 caliber handgun.

10/31/13 – Billy Berry of Knox reported someone attempted to fraudulently use his credit card.

11/01/13 – A resident of the 7600 block of West 850 South in North Judson reported his brother physically assaulted him.

11/01/13 – A barn was reportedly broken into in the 11100 block of East 125 North in Plymouth.

11/01/13 – A fight was reported in the 8100 block of South U.S. 421 in San Pierre between a father and two sons.

11/02/13 – An underage drinking party was reported in the 6000 block of South 100 West in North Judson.

11/03/13 – A 10-gauge shotgun was stolen from the 11000 block of East Toto Road in Culver.

Arrests:

10/30/13 – Michelle D. Arlowe of Highland was arrested on charges of Resisting Law Enforcement.

11/03/13 – Michael D. Saylor, 49 of Grovertown, was arrested on charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
