LaPorte Inmate Served Arrest Warrant

The LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit on Wednesday served a criminal arrest warrant to a man already in prison on charges of Revocation of Suspended Sentence for Dealing Methamphetamine. The warrant now charges the inmate, 39-year-old Carl Ulrich, with two counts of Possession of a Precursor by a Methamphetamine Offender as a Class D felony.

The warrant had been issued by LaPorte County Superior Court IV and had been obtained as a result of an investigation that had been conducted by the LaPorte County Metro Operation Unit. Ulrich was being held in the La Porte County Jail since his arrest on Sept. 4. He remains in the LaPorte County Jail and is being held without bond.
