Victims of Misbranding of Prescription Drugs Urged to Step Forward

 
 
If you received prescription drugs from Kentwood Pharmacy in Michigan from 2004 to Nov. 2010, you are asked to contact the Western District of Michigan U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Officials from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan are handling criminal cases involving suspects in connection with their employment at Kentwood Pharmacy. Kentwood Pharmacy operated retail pharmacies in Grand Rapids and other places in Michigan and they serviced nursing homes, adult foster care homes, and other long-term care facilities throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana.

Three pharmacists have pleaded guilty to misbranding prescription drugs at Kentwood Pharmacy and will soon be sentenced. Individual patients may have received drugs from the pharmacy from 2004 to Nov. 2010 which were misbranded or altered.
