Two people were arrested after LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit officers executed arrest warrants.
Ahna C. Heidt, 24, was taken into custody without incident at her home in LaPorte. She was wanted on two counts of Dealing a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine), a Class A felony. She is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
Larry T. Ballard, 26, of Chicago was also arrested after fleeing on foot from Heidt’s home. He was eventually apprehended and arrested. Ballard was wanted for an outstanding warrant for Dealing a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Cocaine), a Class A felony. He remains in the LaPorte County Jail on a $100,000 cash bond.
The pair is expected to make their initial appearance in LaPorte Circuit Court today.
