Incidents:

10/08/13 – Weapons were reported stolen from a home in the5 00 block of North State Road 23 in Knox.

10/09/13 – A woman reported an autumnal piece with orange flowers had been stolen from a grave at Fletcher’s Cemetery.

10/09/13 – Items were reportedly stolen from the Round Up Bar on State Road 8.

10/09/13 – Fuel was reportedly siphoned from a truck near the Grovertown Truck Stop.

10/09/13 – A resident of the 5500 block of East 800 South in Knox reported a male suspect had stolen money from her.

10/10/13 – A suspect reportedly slashed tires on a vehicle in the 8900 block of East Campbell Street in Knox.

10/10/13 – A resident of the 5100 block of Summerholme Drive in Knox told police that someone had broken into his residence and stolen his medication.

10/10/13 – A resident of the 500 block of South State Road 23 in Knox reported a possible scam involving an automated recording claiming to be 1st Farmers Bank.

10/11/13 – Kankakee Valley REMC reported an illegal meter at a home in the 1200 block of West 200 South in North Judson.

10/13/13 – A resident of the 1800 block of East 250 South in Knox reported someone has been trying to break into his residence.

Arrests:

10/08/13 – Carlton Lewis Buck, 32 of Knox, was arrested following a warrant check in the 5600 block of Shady Lane in Knox.

10/10/13 – Sean Combs, 35 of Knox, was arrested following a warrant check in the 2400 block of South 250 East in Knox.

10/13/13 – An underage drinking party on Tribue Drive in Knox was broken up by police and several people were arrested, including Andrew W. Ledford, 18; Tyler Brandon Keeton, 18 of Knox; Kendall Minix, 18; Joshua Mathew Noble, 18 of North Judson; Alexandrea Lin Bailey, 20 of Winamac; Marissa Renee Rodgers, 19 of Fort Wayne; Sarah Vongsavanh Sourivong, 18 of Elkhart; Jacob Thomas Howsare, 19 of North Judson; Kevin Douglas Shaia, 20 of North Judson; Bruce Wayne Baxter, 20 of North Judson; Grant Delmer Campbell, 18 of North Judson; Kenneth Michael Reed, 19 of North Judson; Kabrina Sierra Baker, 18 of North Judson; Brian Yurgilas, 18; Nicole Marie Staerkel, 18 of Knox.

10/09/13 An employee with BP reportedly found a counterfeit $10 bill.

10/09/13 Christine Batchelor told police that her vehicle was vandalized.

10/07/13 A harassment incident was reported.

10/04/13 A representative with a doctor’s office reported the theft of Xanax.

10/02/13 Sherry Jones reported a hit and run accident.

10/14/13 Steven Brown, 41, 18104 Cumberland Rd., Noblesville, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Trespass, Trespassing on Railroad Property, Possession of a Handgun without a permit and Serious Violent Felon in Possession of a Handgun.

10/1313 Alfredo Hernandez, 38, 315 Ostrander Ct., Knox, IN, arrested on Public Intoxicated.

10/11/13 Danielle Diaz, 408 E. Delaware St., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

10/10/13 Arthur Campbell, 49, 507 S. Heaton St. #1, Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Neglect of a Dependent.

10/04/13 Jerry Cappis, 55, 3190 Blackford Dr., Tippecanoe, IN, arrested on preliminary Public Intoxicated and Possession of a Marijuana.

10/04/13 Natasha Long, 29, 713 Virginia St., Walkerton, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Theft, Battery (two counts), Neglect of a Dependent (two counts), Possession of Marijuana and Resisting Law Enforcement.

10/01/13 Jade Draper, 21, 7200 E. 25 N., Knox, IN, arrested on an arrest warrant.

Incidents:
10/15/13 A woman reportedly attempted to take a few items from a store, covered up in a stroller. The complainant believes he got everything out of the stroller.

10/12/13 Police were called to a fight in Winamac.

10/12/13 Reports were made to dispatchers of fires along side of the road. An investigation is pending.

10/14/13 Police responded to domestic call.

10/15/13 A caller advised that someone had cracked his front window.

10/15/13 A car vs. deer accident was investigated on U.S. 35 near the sewage plant just south of Winamac.

10/15/13 A Pulaski County officer assisted Fulton County police in reference to an escape Pulaski County work release. A subject was taken to Fulton County Jail.

10/15/13 A caller advised of child restraint violation.

10/15/13 A woman told police that a highway truck sprayed paint on her vehicle.

10/15/13 Pulaski County police were dispatched to a domestic issue.

10/15/13 Winamac police were notified of two possible theft incidents.

10/14/13 Winamac Police were notified of a break-in at a home.

10/14/13 A caller told dispathcers that she backed into a tree on her property and totaled her car. $4000 in damage was reported.

10/12/13 Two fire departments were called to a field fire. An investigation is pending.

10/11/13 A caller advised that a truck was on its side on highway 421. The driver of the truck was up and walking around but there was fuel leaking from the truck. EMA director Larry Hoover was advised as well as the Francesville Fire Department.

10/10/13 A complainant reported the theft of $170 from his unlocked vehicle.

10/10/13 An employee at a local gas station reported a failure to pay for fuel in the amount of $77.

10/09/13 Winamac police advised a homeowner that due to a town ordinance, burning trash is illegal in town limits.

10/08/13 A caller told police that someone broke into his shed and stole his welder and possibly other items.

10/08/13 A Francesville resident told police that some unknown person(s) stole a generator, change and Xanax out of his garage.

10/08/13 Police were called to a personal injury accident on U.S. 35 north of the Cass County line. A man rolled his vehicle but was up and walking around. He was taken to local hospital.

10/08/13 Members of the Francesville Fire Department were called to a hay fire.

Arrests:
10/15/13 Timothy Belue, 42, of Winamac, IN, arrested on an out of county warrant.

10/12/13 Jeremiah Balczo, 22, of LaPorte, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery.

10/12/13 Destinee Wolff, 19, of Kingsford Heights, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Battery.

10/12/13 John Zupko, 24, of LaPorte, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Battery, Resisting Law Enforcement and Disorderly Conduct.

10/11/13 Jefferey Manns, 29, of North Judson, IN, arrested on a small claims warrant.

Incidents:
10/10/13 A resident in the 400 block of Main Street reported to police that he was battered by another male subject. A completed report will be turned over to the Starke County Prosecutor for review.

10/10/13 North Judson Police responded to the Dollar General/CVS Parking lot in reference to two females fighting. One of the females fled the scene because she thought she had a warrant and the other female did not want to press charges. The fight was over some clothing.

10/10/13 Police assisted Starke County Community Corrections deputies in the 5200 block of Holiday Street.

10/10/13 Police assisted Starke County Sheriff’s Department deputies in the 5400 block of County Road 250 W. on a battery complaint.

10/09/13 Officers received an anonymous tip of a wanted subject in a residence in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. North Judson Officer Frank McDaniel located the wanted female, Kayla Jo Belue, 23, and she was arrested on a Starke County warrant. Belue was transported to the Starke County Jail without incident.

10/08/13 North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas performed a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Oakwood Street. After a brief investigation, the driver, James Franklin Richie Jr., 40, was arrested on a Starke County Circuit Court Warrant. James Richie was transported to the Starke County Jail without incident.

10/07/13 North Judson Police responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Main Street and Keller Avenue. Chief Deputy Joe Budner investigated the accident. A female driver on Keller Avenue stated she did not see the semi and trailer. She ran into the two rear outer tires of the trailer. Chief Deputy Budner estimated the damages at over $5,000.00.

Arrests:
10/09/13 Kayla Jo Belue, 23, of Knox, IN, was arrested on a Starke County warrant.

10/08/13 James Franklin Richie Jr., 40, of North Judson, IN was arrested on a Starke County Circuit Court warrant.
