Argos Man Sentenced for Selling Heroin

An Argos man was sentenced in Marshall County Superior Court I on Thursday, Oct. 3.

Ralph Howard, 54, pleaded guilty in a plea agreement with the state on charge of selling heroin to a confidential informant. He admitted in open court that he was involved in a sale of a quantity of heroin to a person later identified as a confidential informant at a residence in the 300 block of Walnut Street in Argos on Dec. 22, 2012.

Judge Robert O. Bowen sentenced Howard to 10 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections with no part of the sentence to be suspended.

Howard had a prior conviction of Dealing in Methamphetamine in 2003.
