“The final adoption will be at our October meeting on the 14th,” stated Conner. “We tried to cut it back some for next year so that we’re not using so much cash-on-hand and tryin got get around to having a balanced budget.”
The board also made the decision to send out the town’s garbage collection for bid.
“We’ll see what kind of price we can get on that and compare it to privatizing it or keep doing it in-house ourselves. Those bids are due back in time for our October meeting.”
A stop sign will also go up at the corner of Burson and Huddleston Streets.
