Health Fair Scheduled at West Central

Learn more about health and businesses in the Pulaski County area by attending the third annual Health Fair at the West Central Middle School and High School.

West Central School Nurse Arlene Netzger says it will be your one-stop shop for health information from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET at the middle school/high school.

“It’s in the hallways and it’s during parent/teacher conference night so that is when we hope to get a lot of people, parents and students to come by and check out all of the booths that we have,” said Netzger.

Metzger emphasized that this year’s fair will focus on area businesses and opportunities around the Pulaski County area that focus on health or physical fitness, or activities that families can do together.

There will be some fun giveaways during the Health Fair.

“We have free giveaways like bicycles, gas cards, and different things from area businesses. We’re so grateful. Everybody likes to win a prize!” said Metzger.

About 20 businesses will have items set out for you to see during the health fair scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
