The commissioners approved a quote from Wheeler Construction at a cost of $7952 to perform the work. Wheeler Construction presented the lowest of two bids.
The commissioners also approved a quote for $5452 to install a concrete slab at the recycling center to meet state requirements that prohibit any recyclables from being stored on the ground. Johnston explained a partial slab is already in place, but they would need an additional transfer from the General Fund in order to pay for the work.
The commissioners approved the lowest quote pending council approval.
