Bret Smiley, construction manager with United Consulting, said the construction crews have installed the Stay-in-Place metal decking. The superstructure sections of the end bents were completed last week and now the crew is awaiting acceptable strengths for them before backfill is installed.
Rebar is being installed this week.
Smiley explained that the deck should be poured in approximately one to two weeks and he is happy with the progress in the project.
