The pair had been wanted on warrants issued through LaPorte Circuit Court and were taken into custody Monday at their home in the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue in LaPorte.
Gabral Robinson, 31, was wanted for Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), a Class D felony. Dawn Robinson, also 31, was wanted on two outstanding charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class D felony and a misdemeanor charge of Possession of Paraphernalia. Both are being held in the LaPorte County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
The officers with the LaPorte County Metro Operations Unit have made several arrests in the last two weeks that involve heroin.
