Knox Woman Arrested on Drug Charges in Pulaski County

 
 
A Knox woman was arrested south of Winamac on State Road 119 on Monday, Aug. 19 on several drug charges after a traffic stop.

A Pulaski County officer pulled over Karen Howard’s vehicle after noticing she failed to use a turn signal. Police also received a tip that she might have drugs in the vehicle.

In a search of the vehicle, a one-pot meth lab was found in the trunk of the car along with several pieces of paraphernalia and methamphetamine precursors.

The Indiana State Police Crime Lab was called to assist in cleaning up the lab.

Howard was arrested and booked into the Pulaski County Jail on preliminary charges of Manufacture/Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Precursors with Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Her bond has been set at $2,500 cash.
