This is National Health Center Week and a Back-to-School Health and Fun Fair will be conducted by HealthLinc in Knox this week to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s Health Centers as solutions for affordable and accessible health care.
This is an opportunity for uninsured and underinsured children to obtain immunizations and school and sports physicals. These children will receive these services for free. These students will also get a free backpack filled with school supplies. Refreshments will be offered along with a variety of entertainment offered by the staff at the HealthLinc clinic.
The Back-to-School Health and Fun Fair in Knox will be held on Friday, Aug. 9 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the HealthLinc location, 104 E. Culver Road.
Several other of these events are planned in our area. For more information visit www.healthlincchc.org.
