Incidents:
07/25/13 Police response to a domestic and harassment call in the 6500 Block of Walnut Street. Upon arrival the suspect had fled the area.

07/22/13 North Judson Police officers assisted the Starke County Sheriff’s Department on a battery complaint in the 7800 Block of 400 South. An arrest was made.

Arrests:
07/23/13 Mitch Ray Williams, 49, 6575 S. 375 West, North Judson, IN was arrested on a Starke County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Driving While Suspended charge. Williams also had 2 F.T.A. warrants from Pulaski County.

Incidents:
07/28/13 Farmers complained about damage to their corn field. A juvenile reportedly admitted to causing the damage while riding an ATV.

07/28/13 An employee from Good Oil Company reported a drive-off during a gasoline transaction. The subject later came back and paid for the gas.

07/27/13 An employee from the Good Oil Company reported the drive off of $40.

07/27/13 The Sheriff’s Department received a complaint of fireworks.

07/27/13 A resident called to report that some unknown person(s) dumped roofing trash along their lane.

07/27/13 A caller reported getting lost on the Tippecanoe River while riding in a canoe.

07/26/13 A Winamac resident reported her daughter’s credit card stolen.

07/26/13 A complainant requested a theft report as a subject stole the caller’s checks and cashed them in the Winamac area.

07/26/13 A resident reported that a piece of her property was taken and sold online.

07/26/13 Police were called to a rollover accident at U.S. 35 and 400 S.

07/25/13 A Winamac resident reported the theft of a garbage can and gas from his vehicle.

07/24/13 A resident told police that ladders were stolen from his Winamac property.

07/24/13 The Francesville Fire Department was called out to a vehicle fire.

07/24/13 A person watching a residence in Francesville reported suspicious activity at that residence.

07/23/13 A Francesville woman wanted to file a theft report after LaPorte County police called to let her know that her truck, trailer and lawn mower were located in the middle of the road in LaPorte County.

07/23/13 A Medaryville man told police that the tires on his vehicle were slit.

Arrests:

07/27/13 William Williamson, 44, 3045 N. U.S. 35, Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of Marijuana.

07/25/13 Vincent Cruz, 18, of Medaryville, IN arrested on preliminary charges of Battery Causing Bodily Injury and Battery.

Incidents:
07/25/13 Cathy Rowe told police that she found numerous peaches scattered around her yard where some unknown person(s) had been throwing them.

07/22/13 Mark Jensen from the Knox Community School Corporation called police to report criminal mischief. Some unknown person(s) entered several school buses and stole several first aid kits and seat belt cutters. Police also reportedly noticed the bottom of the bench seats forcibly pulled from their original locations. The missing first aid kits were later found on one of the buses. Fecal matter was also found near the front bumper of one of the buses.

Arrests:
07/28/13 Bradley White, 25, LaCrosse, IN, arrested on two counts of Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. He was also wanted on arrest warrants in Starke, LaPorte and Porter Counties.

07/28/13 Keith Dollahan, Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Arson, Criminal Recklessness and Disorderly Conduct.

07/25/13 Tammy Hurt, 41, 9981 E Elm St., Grovertown, IN, arrested on 19 counts of theft after she allegedly stole several items from Five Star.

Incidents:

07/22/13 – A resident of the 8800 block of East 150 North in Knox told police that someone had broken into his home.

07/22/13 – A driver told police that the driver of a Ford Taurus on U.S. 30 pulled a gun on him while traveling east.

07/23/13 – A resident of the 5300 block of South Western Avenue in Knox told police that someone had busted out the windshield of his car.

07/24/13 – A female told police that someone had stolen belongings from the back of a friend’s vehicle near Koontz Lake.

07/24/13 – Kristin Lenig of Knox told police that someone had used her credit card fraudulently.

07/24/13 – Lisa Cole of Walkerton reported someone had stolen her son’s wallet and cell phone while he was near the Koontz Lake Beach.

07/25/13 – Tools and medication were reportedly stolen from a residence in the 6700 block of North 1100 East in Knox.

07/26/13 – A female caller advised police that her stepdaughter had stolen pain pills from the residence.

07/26/13 – Arlene Clark at the Seventh Day Adventist Church reported someone had thrown a rock through the sanctuary window.

07/26/13 – A resident of Hamlet reported someone had damaged an electric service panel.

07/26/13 – Alicia Howard of North Judson told police that someone had stolen her child support check.

07/27/13 – A resident of the 3800 block of East Toto Road in Knox reported two men had come to his home and threatened him.

07/27/13 – A resident of the 3400 block of South 200 East in Knox told police someone had attempted to break into his sliding doors.

07/27/13 – A hit-and-run was reported in the 3200 block of South County Road 210 in Knox.

Arrests:

07/23/13 – Darlene Nina Robinson, 67 of San Pierre, was arrested on charges of Driving While Suspended following a traffic stop near the intersection of Toto and Range roads.
