IU Health LaPorte Dental Center Offering Free Dental Exams to Uninsured Kids

 
 

The IU Health LaPorte Dental Center has announced that it will be offering free dental exams to children who have no dental insurance. The exam meets the requirements of the LaPorte Community School Corporation, and all children will also receive a free bag of dental-related gifts for participating. Funding for the exams has been provided by the LaPorte Hospital Foundation.

IU Health LaPorte Dental Center provides quality dental care to children and adults with low income and no dental insurance, focusing on education children on prevention and proper care for teeth. The exams are offered by appointment only on Wednesday, July 31 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Monday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 7 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m,; Friday, Aug. 9 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All times are Central.
