Two teenagers were arrested Saturday after police recovered a stolen vehicle.
The victim of the theft called the Marshall County 911 Center and reported seeing the vehicle traveling through Centennial Park. She notified her neighbors and they followed the vehicle.
The caller, Marshall County dispatchers and the Plymouth Police Department combined their efforts in apprehending two suspects after the vehicle was ditched at Shalley Drive and Fairbanks Avenue.
Officers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department searched the vehicle and found items believed to be stolen from residences the same night the van was stolen.
Cody Rhoades of Plymouth, 18, was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Marijuana and Receiving Stolen Property. His bond is set at $3,000. A 16-year-old male was also taken into custody and lodged by the Marshall County Probation Department.
