The Plymouth Fire Department received a call of a structure fire at a residence at 14701 Dixon Lake Trail around 7:37 a.m. Monday morning and were able to get the fire contained within half an hour. The home is likely to be a total loss, but portions of the house were not destroyed by the fire thanks to the firefighters’ efforts.
While no cause for the fire has been determined, an investigation crew with the fire department has already conducted its preliminary investigation and will return today to investigate further.
The homeowner had already left for the day to go to work and no one was injured.
