Former Pulaski County Man Continues to Violate Probation

A former Pulaski County man who pleaded guilty in a plea agreement with the state on a charge of Child Molesting can’t seem to satisfy his terms of probation.

In 2008, Noble Shelton Jr. was arrested on a charge of Child Molesting, a Class B felony in Pulaski County and a plea agreement was later accepted in 2009 when Shelton was sentenced to 10 years in the Department of Corrections with six years suspended. The remaining four years would be served in incarceration and he was placed on probation for a period of six years. He was also to comply with all special terms of probation for sex offenders and register as per state statute.

In 2010, the probation department revoked his probation and he was arrested on a warrant and another petition to revoke probation was made in 2011. The court found that he violated his probation in May 2011 and ordered Shelton to serve six months executed in the Pulaski County Jail. He violated probation again in 2012 and failed to appear for a fact finding hearing which landed him back in jail for a 12 month executed sentence. He could serve that with the Cass/Pulaski Community Corrections so he may complete his sentence and be employed.

Shelton, 24, was arrested and placed back into the Pulaski County Jail on June 4 after he again violated probation. On June 3, Cass/Pulaski Community Corrections filed an incident and Shelton reportedly didn’t register as a sex offender as he moved.

Another court hearing in Pulaski Superior Court is scheduled to determine his status as an offender.
