Incidents:
05/11/13 North Judson Officer Frank Thomas performed a traffic stop on a vehicle east of North Judson on State Road 10. The passenger in the vehicle, Jessica Schroeder, 34, was arrested on a Pulaski County warrant for Failure to Appear for a sentencing hearing. Schroeder was transported to the county line and turned over to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.
05/11/13 Police conducted a traffic stop on Oakwood Avenue due to a speeding violation. Two arrests were made.
05/11/13 A theft was reported to the North Judson police in the 500 Block of W. Talmer Avenue. It remains under investigation.
05/10/13 North Judson Chief Deputy Joe Budner responded to a property damage accident in the Family Express parking lot. Gregory J. Brown was backing up in his pick up truck and stated he did not see a white station wagon behind him and backed into it. The station wagon was driven by Kenneth A. Kozecar. No injuries were reported. Chief Deputy Budner estimated the damages were over $1,000.00.
05/10/13 Officer Frank Thomas responded to a property damage accident in the gravel parking area at the North Judson Town Park on South George Street. A vehicle driven by Louis J. Baker Jr. struck a parked vehicle on the passenger side door and rear quarter panel. Officer Thomas estimated the damages at over $2,500.00. No injuries were reported.
05/09/13 A resident in the 200 block of Garden Street reported to North Judson Police that her debit card was used fraudulently. This incident is still under investigation.
05/09/13 North Judson Police Chief Doug Vessely responded to a property damage accident on West Talmer Avenue just East of the First Bank of Monterey. Driver, Kent F. McDaniel, Knox, pulled out onto SR #10 and was struck by a vehicle driven by Ogelean Owens, North Judson. No injuries were reported. Chief Vessely estimated the damage as over $2,500.00.
05/09/13 North Judson Chief Doug Vessely responded to a semi that struck a stop sign at the intersection of Luken Street and E. Talmer Avenue. The semi left the scene west on Talmer Avenue. Chief Vessely located the semi. The driver of the semi, Christopher John Hudson, stated he did not realize he hit the stop sign. Chief Vessely gathered information for an incident report for the state highway department.
05/08/13 A resident reported a possible intoxicated driver. The officer checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.
05/07/13 North Judson Police responded to a property damage accident in the CVS parking lot. Serena Marie Mueller struck a parked vehicle. The damages were estimated at under $1,000.00.
05/07/13 A male subject requested assistance from police in the 500 block of High Street to retrieve his belongings from an ex-girlfriend.
05/06/13 A North Judson police officer located a beige leather purse in the 100 block of Lane Street. The purse was empty and it was taken to the police department for safekeeping.
05/06/13 North Judson Police Department officers issued three-day warning notices to residents whose grass was higher than four inches.

05/13/13 Deputies responded to a personal injury accident on 800 S. in Star City.
05/13/13 Police were called to investigate a report of unauthorized use of a vehicle in the Winamac area.
05/12/13 A Winamac man advised that while he was at church his wife called him and said some unknown person tried to break into his house and van.
05/12/13 The Star City Fire Department was called out to a field fire.
05/11/13 A resident in Francesville told police of a man peeking in windows.
05/11/13 A resident called police to report that he was just run off the road by a person driving a Valparaiso Community school bus. The man followed the bus back to Porter County where local police pulled over the bus. The man asked that a Pulaski County officer meet him in Medaryville to file a report. The officer noted that there was no damage to the vehicle.
05/11/13 Francesville residents were complaining that illegal fireworks were being discharged.
05/11/13 A Winamac resident complained that several subjects were driving around egging cars.
05/10/13 Police were notified of a road hazard in the Winamac Town Park.
05/09/13 A criminal mischief report was filed in the Francesville area.
05/09/13 A battery complaint was filed with police.

05/13/13 Shannon Conley, 33, of Wheatfield, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.
05/11/13 Jessica Sturgell, 34, of San Pierre, IN, arrested on an active bench warrant and a warrant with a body attachment.
05/09/13 Richard Rugg, 33, of Michigan City, IN, arrested on a warrant for Failure to Appear.
05/08/13 Joey Frinkel, 28, of Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle Without Ever Obtaining a License.

05/13/13 Officers were called to a home on a report of a juvenile who was just bitten by a stray dog.
05/11/13 Terra Strickland reported damage to her son’s car while it was parked at McDonald’s.
05/10/13 The McDonald’s Store Manager called police to report a broken table. Juveniles reportedly caused the damage while misbehaving.

05/13/13 Todd Dalton, 23, 3980 E. Mae Delano Dr., Knox, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.
05/13/13 Sierra Thompson, 18, 1135 E. 150 S., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Possession and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.
A juvenile was detained in this incident.
05/11/13 Mechell Bachner, 28, 5 N. Harrison St., Batavia, IL, arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He was also cited for disregarding a stop sign.
05/10/13 William J. Baker, 59, 0315 W. 250 S., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. He was also cited for an infraction of driving while suspended.

05/08/13 – Joshua Phillip Coffelt, 27 of Hamlet, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
05/08/13 – Larranie Lee Hayes, 24 of North Judson, was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated after crashing a vehicle into a yard.
05/09/13 – Michael A. Zylstra, 23 of Wheatfield, was arrested for Public Intoxicated after he was reportedly found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle in a woman’s driveway.
05/12/13 – Leonard Salyer, 19 of Knox, was arrested on charges of Illegal Possession, Consumption of Alcohol.
