Vandals Strike Wythogan Park in Knox

Vandals have struck at Wythogan Park already this spring.

Park Superintendent George Byer told Knox City Police officers that on Monday, April 1 he found that some unknown person(s) spray painted graffiti on the new curly slide. The suspects also spray painted graffiti on a brick building inside the park.

This is the third report of vandalism in the park in the past three weeks.

Knox City Police Chief Clint Norem asks that you call the Knox City Police Department at (574) 772-4122 or the Starke County Sheriff’s Department at 772-3771 if you witness vandalism in the park or anywhere in the city.
