The North Judson-San Pierre School Board is working with Emcor in order to put together a facility study. The board wants to see where all of the buildings are structurally and to see where improvements need to be made.

Superintendent Lynn Johnson explained that remodeling projects are planned down the road the Emcor will help identify what areas need the most work at all of the facilities. The initial findings will be reported to the board in future meetings.

The school board also approved the retirements of kindergarten teacher Cheryl Orkis, 5th grade teacher Terri Minix and classroom assistant Anita Ludlow. Shirley Mosher, who has worked in the cafeteria for 41 years, will also be retiring this school year.
