The Oregon-Davis School Board held a public work session Monday night before their regular meeting to discuss capital projects and the final budget order.

Superintendent Dr. Steve Disney said one of the items the school board is trying to finalize in the capital projects plan is boiler replacement.

“We’ve been working on a plan for about the last five years for boiler replacement,” said Dr. Disney. “Five years ago we had some problems at the elementary and we replaced that entire system. We knew that it was going to get us through some time. So, we’ve allocated the money and have been saving up for that.”

The board also agreed to plan a board retreat involving the teacher’s association leadership.
