Knox School Board Hears Report Concerning NWEA Results

test taking

The Knox Community School Board received an update on how the third through eighth grade students performed on the NWEA testing in January.

Improvement was reported in every grade from the data gathered from the September testing. Growth was shown in Math and Language Arts and the scores were above target.

The NWEA test is a benchmark for teachers and administrators to gauge where students are in their learning process. The test is taken twice a year – once in September and once in January to mark progress.

The school board was happy with the mid-year check and the board members hope the trend continues.
