1st Source Bank Ranks #25 as America’s Best Bank

1st Source Bank has been ranked #25 in an annual review of the nation’s 100 largest publicly held financial institutions.

Forbes has officially recognized 1st Source Bank as one of America’s Best Banks. The bank ranked higher than any other bank based in Indiana.

Data collected from SNL Financial help Forbes rank the bank. The criteria included return on average equity, net interest margin, nonperforming loans, nonperforming assets, reserves, a leverage ratio and two capital ratios.

1st Source Corporation, a parent company of 1st Source Bank, has assets of $4.55 billion and is the largest locally controlled financial institution headquartered in the Northern Indiana-southwestern Michigan area. The corporation includes 76 banking centers in 17 counties.
