Two Arrested For Manufacturing Methamphetamine

Two Walkerton residents were arrested on Friday, Nov. 30 after police allegedly found them in possession of methamphetamine and precursors in which to manufacture the drug.

Starke County officers learned that the occupants at 11220 E. 875 N. were manufacturing meth. When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly saw a zip-lock bag containing a light blue substance which they recognized as being an ingredient used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence and inside, officers and detectives reportedly found a trash bag filled with lithium battery packages, two empty pseudoephedrine blister packs, and several burnt foils. Other paraphernalia and controlled substances were also present.

Evidence reportedly revealed that Ashley Beaver and Ryan Clark had purchased pseudoephedrine on more than occasion and were blocked from further purchases.

Beaver and Clark were arrested and both have preliminary charges of Possession of Precursors, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
