South Bend Man Arrested In Marshall County On Drug Charges

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a South Bend man on U.S. 31 near 7B Road in Marshall County.

Early Thursday morning, an officer with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department stopped a vehicle on U.S. 31 for a moving violation. During the stop, the deputy’s K9 Arras indicated the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.

A subsequent search led to the discovery of a controlled substance along with paraphernalia in the vehicle. Police arrested the driver, 21-year-old Christian Jack of South Bend, on charges of Possession of Paraphernalia with a Prior Conviction, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jack was booked into the Marshall County Jail with a bond of $1500.
