Incidents

12/03/12 – Someone reportedly stole a package from a woman’s doorstep.

12/04/12 – Dennis Olson of WInamac told police that someone had stolen a 42″ Insignia television from his residence.

12/05/12 – Joseph Daniels of Winamac reported someone had destroyed his mailbox.

12/05/12- Shane Reed of Winamac told police that someone had stolen medication from his car in front of his mother’s house.

12/05/12 – Police were called to a Winamac residence in response to a felon in possession of a firearm.

12/05/12 – A resident told police that someone had tried to stab him at a residence in Monterey.

12/06/12 – A Winamac resident reported someone had used a fraudulent check to pay him for a Craigslist sale.

12/07/12 – A Medaryville resident told police that someone had broken the windows out of both of her vehicles.

12/07/12 – A Medaryville woman told police that someone stole her mailbox.

12/07/12 – A Winamac man told police that a Dodge pickup truck had done donuts near the road by the cemetery.

12/07/12 – Someone reportedly broke the windows on a van for sale.

12/07/12 – A Medaryville man told police that someone broke the windows to a trailer.

12/08/12 – A driveoff was reported at the Good Oil station in Winamac.

12/09/12 – A shoplifter was reported at a business in Winamac.

12/08/12 – A suspect drove off from a gas station in Winamac without paying.

North Judson Police Department

From the North Judson Police Department:

Incidents:

12/3/12 – A resident reported being chased by a loose dog in the 700 Block of Arlington Avenue.  The North Judson Police located the animal’s owner and corrected the problem.

12/4/12 – The North Judson Police responded to a drive off at the Good to Go on Talmer Avenue.  The unknown suspect pumped $47.01 in gasoline and failed to pay and fled the parking lot.  This remains under investigation.

12/4/12 – An harassment dispute was reported to the North Judson Police on Luken Street near Main Street.  Several parties were involved and all were advised to clear the area and not to make contact with each other..

12/6/12 – A shoplifting report was made with the North Judson Police in the 700 Block of Talmer Avenue involving a theft of a $48.00 flashlight.  This incident also remain under investigation.

12/7/12 – North Judson Police responded to an unwanted guest in the 400 Block of Main Street.  The suspect had left the area and was not located.

12/8/12 – A report of a domestic battery was taken at the North Judson Police station, while the other party called the Starke County Sheriff’s Department to the 2000 block of Donna Street.  Both North Judson Officer Frank Thomas and Starke County Sheriff Officer Rob Gray investigated the incident.

12/9/12 – A home owner in the 100 Block of E. Sycamore Street reported to North Judson Police that their Christmas Decorations were rearranged and vandalized sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Arrests:

12/2/12 –  Amber Butts, 32, 403 Keller Ave. , North Judson, arrested for Neglect of a Child.  NJPD

12/5/12 – Matthew C. Henning, 18, 3060 W. 800 South, North Judson ,arrested for Possession of a Controled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.  NJPD

12/6/12 – Terri  C. Hamilton, 29, 304 E. St Louis, Knox ,arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and hold for Community Corrections.  NJPD

12/7/12 – Joseph C. Liebner, 60, 3425 N. 450 West, Winamac, arrested for Driving While Suspended Prior.  NJPD
