Manhunt Continues In Marshall County

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is still hunting for a wanted suspect for outstanding warrants. According to the Marshall County Emergency Management Agency, Marshall County deputies are still searching for 42-year-old William Newman after he fled from police attempting to serve a Fulton County felony warrant yesterday morning.

Around 10:15 a.m., deputies attempted to serve the warrant on Newman but he quickly fled, leading deputies on a vehicle pursuit that finally ended in the area of 4th and Rose roads. The suspect then exited his vehicle and fled on foot.

Marshall County deputies, along with the Indiana State Police, Walkerton Police Department, Starke County deputies and La Porte County deputies, set up a perimeter and began tracking the suspect. Even with the assistance of the Marshall County K9 and a state police K9, the suspect is still eluding police.

William Newman is a 42-year-old white male with thinning grey and black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray plaid hoodie.
