Several Contested County Positions Will Go to Polls Nov. 6

With the General Election just five days away, a number of county races will be decided by the voters on Nov. 6.

Two candidates are vying for Starke County Commissioner District 3: Republican Kent Danford and Democrat Daniel Bridegroom.

Meanwhile, six candidates are running for three contested positions for county council. Republicans Bryan Cavender, Talia Reed and Bruce Williams, along with Democrats Freddie Baker, Judy Benninghoff, and Bob Sims are competing for the three at-large county council positions.

In Pulaski County, Republican Terry L. Young is racing against Democrat William Bauer for County Commissioner District 1.

At the same time, four candidates are vying for the county council at-large position: Republicans Roger Querry, Jerry Sullivan, and Douglas Roth, as well as Democrat Matthew Rausch will compete for the at-large position.
