Northern Indiana Community Foundation Director Resigns After 10 Years

The director of the Northern Indiana Community Foundation has resigned after serving 10 years in the position.

Terri Johnson began as director in September 2002. She won’t be moving too far from work with the NICF. She will be working with the Indiana Grantmakers’ Alliance as the associate director of the GIFT Technical Assistance Program. She will be designing and implementing development programs for over 90 Indiana Community Foundations. Her last day will be Dec. 31.

With her guidance and support, the Community Foundation has grown into a respected community organization that connects donors with needs within the region and works with area leaders to find solutions to issues that affect the community.

The Community Foundation has appointed Susie Perkins of Miami County as interim executive director while the application process for a permanent executive director remains open. Applications for the position are open until 5:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 and can be found online at nicf.org.
