Leesburg Man Gets 15 Months In Prison For Manufacturing Marijuana

A Leesburg man was recently sentenced in U.S. District Court.

Eric Barker, 42, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison and two years of supervised release after pleading guilty to the felony offense of manufacturing marijuana.

Barker was found to have manufactured marijuana with a grow operation of over 100 plants in Marshall County. Scales, baggies and other paraphernalia were recovered in his home including loose marijuana. He had six prior controlled substance convictions.

The case was the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
