Absentee Voting Wraps Up This Weekend

You only have two more opportunities to vote absentee!

Today, you may vote absentee at the Starke County Courthouse from 8 a.m to noon and 1–4 p.m. CT. You may also vote at the Pulaski County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to noon ET.

Make sure you have your photo I.D. with you when you vote absentee and when you go to the polls on Election Day.

Starke County Clerk Evelyn Skronski said 1120 walk-in absentee votes have been made in-office so far and close to 300 mail-in votes have been submitted. Eighty of those ballots remain outstanding. Forty travel board absentee ballots have also been collected.

In comparison to the last Presidential Election in 2008, 1,997 absentee votes were officially counted. That total included in-office, mail-in and travel board absentee ballots.
