Pulaski County Food Pantry Inventory Low; Donations Needed

The Pulaski County Food Pantry is in need of donations.

Pulaski County Human Services Director Jacki Frain indicated that donations of canned items, soups, peanut butter, jelly and other shelf food items are needed. Diapers, shampoo, deodorant, paper products and other toiletry items are also needed.

Several organizations in the Pulaski County communities have made some donations to the food pantry, but some stocks are still desperately low. You can also made a monetary donation and that will used to purchase necessities.

One hundred and fourteen families received 13,888 pounds of food in the month of September. Commodities from the Lafayette Food Bank are low so food pantry officials are asking the community to step up.

If you wish to donate, volunteer or make a monetary donation, call (574) 946-6500 or visit the facility at 115 W. Pearl St. in Winamac.
