Missing LaPorte Girl Found Safe in Florida

A missing 17-year-old LaPorte girl has been reportedly found safe and sound in Florida, having been reported missing on Wednesday.

The family of Emily Sue Snyder had been asking for the public’s help in locating their daughter who was reported missing on Wednesday. She was last seen at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday when she was presumed to be heading to classes at South Central High School, but her parents soon learned she didn’t make it to school.

Her disappearance was then reported to police, and authorities were on the lookout for her 1997 blue Audi Cabriolet convertible, possibly in the company of two teen males. It was believed she and her possible companions may have been headed to Florida, specifically Daytona Beach or Delton. For that reason, authorities asked for the assistance of truck drivers or anyone associated with bus companies to be on the lookout for Snyder’s vehicle.

The latest tip received in the case indicated that she may have also be headed to California via Greyhound bus lines.

She was reported safe in Florida by the organization “Moms on a Mission,” and her family confirmed that she is safe.
