Festival Weekend Continues – Many Events Planned

The busy festival weekend continues today.

Enjoy the town-wide yard sales at the Monterey Days Festival today, the MRZ Mobile Reptile Zoo from 9–10 a.m., Loehmer’s Hardware Pedal Tractor Pull and the Lion’s Club Ham and Beans at 11 a.m. followed by the Monterey Days Parade at 5:30 p.m.

Tomorrow at the festival, don’t forget the Knights of Columbus Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at 8 a.m., the Lion’s Club Vision Van at 10 a.m., music from Sentimental Journey at 4 p.m. and the Talent Show at 7 p.m. The Collins-Tasch Post #99 Ox Roast will be on Monday at 11 a.m.

Today at the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth, visit all of the arts and crafts booths which open at 9 a.m., the Garden Tractor Pull at noon, and the two Monster Energy BMX shows at noon and 6 p.m.

Tomorrow, the Hot Air Balloon Launch is at 6:30 a.m., slow pitch softball is at 8 a.m., the ABATE bike show is at 9 a.m., and the Four Person Blueberry Golf Scramble is at 9 a.m. Another hot air balloon launch is Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. and the Hot Air Balloon Glow is at 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Finally, if the weather allows, the Fireworks Extravaganza begins at 9:15 p.m.

The Blueberry Festival parade will take place Monday morning at 9 a.m. The festival closes Monday evening at 6 p.m.
