Howard “Gene” Helvie, 71, of Logansport, Indiana passed away Friday, August 3, 2012. Graveside services with military rites will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville, Indiana. Visitation is Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. ET at the Harrison Metzger and Rans Funeral Home-Royal Center Chapel. Memorials may be made to the VFW #3790 Children’s Christmas Fund.
