The Winamac Town Board heard a request from Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Parish Berger to modify the hours at the Clerk’s Office.
She suggested that the Clerk’s Office be open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday office hours would be eliminated.
Two Board members voiced that they would like to see the Saturday hours remain as they are and they added that the longer Wednesday hours could work.
No decision was made at the time of the meeting and more discussion will be held at a later date.
